From time to time, I assist the BC Ministry of Transportation with testing new charging stations around northern BC. This video shows the new Mt Robson 25kw chargers. There are VERY important tips in this video showing how to use the DC Fast chargers, they have DIFFERENT behaviour from many others because they are not connected to a Cell network. I show in this video the correct way first, then the incorrect way (that most people usual try) to use these chargers.
- If your car requires an adapter (like all Tesla’s which require a CHAdeMO adapter) you MUST plug the adapter into the car first, then plug the stations’ connector into your adapter. See a demo in this video.
- As soon as the charger has been plugged in correctly it will automatically start initiating the charge sequence, no need to push buttons.
